Reaching for Your Dreams

It’s trash day! Don’t forget to put your garbage out to the curb!

That is something that needs to be done every week. We take the things we are done with, have used up, that have become broken… and we throw them away. We wouldn’t want to hold onto the rubbish that is in our trash cans… after a while, that stuff starts to stink!

Holding onto the negative things of our past, often referred to as our “baggage”, is very similar to holding onto the stinky trash that is in our garbage can. They both take up space… are things we don’t want … and, after a while, they both make us feel unhappy.

Trash stinks and Baggage is worse. It can weigh us down to the point that we feel like we will never be able to reach our dreams.

Today, I challenge you to start letting go of the trash in your mind. It is not something you can do all at once, but rather it is a process that begins with taking the first step. Set aside just ONE thing that you feel is dragging you down and is stinking up your life. Just ONE… failed attempt or just ONE negative life event or just ONE worry that you have that is preventing you from reaching your dreams. I want you to be able to reach your dreams. Take this first step with me today and see what a difference it can make!

To help you on this journey of dreams, here are some of the quotes I shared this past month on Facebook…

‎~When we are doing what we love, we don’t care about time. For at least at that moment, time doesn’t exist and we are truly free.

~The purpose of our lives is to give birth to the best which is within us. ~ Marianne Williamson

~You can CHOOSE the ATTITUDE you bring to the day!

~The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

~Fill your mind with light, happiness, hope, feelings of security and strength, and soon your life will reflect these qualities.
